Nur

Nuria or better known as Nur, daughter of the Angolan singer Eddy Tussa and granddaughter of the late Roy Mukuna, a musician who was a member of one of the most renowned bands in Tanzania (Maquis Original).

Nur began her journey in the music industry under the name of Black Beautty at the age of 17, in her two home countries, Angola and Portugal, as a multi-genre artist who performs songs ranging from Afro-dance, Afro- pop, RnB and neo-soul.

She has made a name for herself, growing a fan base in both countries and reaching both markets by collaborating with local artists such as Duc & Niiko, Força Suprema Dj Ritchelly, Colo Sq, Silver Saga Dj Riddla, Dj Smuck among others. About 5 years ago, Nur decided to move to London, to study Music Business with an interest in getting to know the business side of the Music Industry, leaving Luanda when she was gaining some recognition in the market. Her time in London since then has helped her develop her creativity and better establish her artistic direction.

She reformulated her name and image and added another dimension to her music inspired by the people and genres she discovered in London but always linked to her African influences, giving her more space to reach international markets.
